HERE ARE OUR EXPECTATIONS
-
Parents should set a good example for their children by demonstrating respect, sportsmanship and a positive attitude.
-
Players and parents should treat everyone involved in the sport with respect, including coaches, officials, and other players.
-
Parents and players should avoid offensive, abusive, or vulgar language or conduct. They should also avoid taunting opposing players, coaches, and parents.
-
Parents should support the officials’ decisions and authority during games.
-
Parents should not coach their child from the stands during games or practices.
-
Parents should handle disagreements with officials in a respectful manner.
-
Parents should prioritize the emotional and physical well-being of the players over their own desire to win.
If a parent or player violates the code of conduct, they may be asked to leave the facility and their child may be removed from the game or practice. The board may also enforce other sanctions, such as a permanent ban from the program.
